I'M F#%@ed! I need help, please.

I just backed-up my hard drive to my slave drive.

I went to re-format my drive which contains my op-system (XP).

Well, after the re-formatting, my hard drive was the same as before the re-formating.

However, on closer examination, MY SLAVE DRIVE HAS BEEN WIPED OUT instead of my main drive with XP.

The goddamn HP System Recovery application never gave me the option of which drive to re-format. So naturally, I assume my master drive with the operating system is going to be re-formatted.

BUT NO! MY SLAVE DRIVE IS WIPED CLEAN OF ALL THE FILES AND PROGRAMS I NEED!

Is there a way to do a re-store on the slave drive? Or are my files lost for good?

Thanks for letting me vent and for any help youi may provide.

In case it matters, I have an HP Pavilion 7905 running XP Home version.

Thanks again,

Scott
