My team made 6000 MT of LCE in 2015. That was a 100% increase from previous year. Now, with 13 and 9 ponds out of service without replacement and 11 pond only half covered suggest 2023 will be lucky to reach 1000 MT. If $70 a kg prices hold, that will still generate twice the revenue we grossed at $6 - but a far cry from the $420 million the same pond area could mean today. It’s not just a simple matter of pond area, there were other opportunities overseas, and no one could have predicted Elon’s success at the time - so it is heartwarming to see ALB taking pride in the old girl. Hopefully, they will correct the last 8 years of boondoggling and help put the US back on the Lithium map. Together we can make America great again.
