My favorite choice for where the MDLE might be, Berkshire checks off so many blocks making them a "outstanding customer"

Ever since the Jan 11 IBAT P.R came out, talking about facilities and plants in plural stood out immediately to me. I might be reading to much into the plural "S" but Berkshire is the only lithium resource in the Western U.S. to use
facilities and plants openly on their websites along with IBAT now. Subtle subliminal message…

Berkshire Hathaway Energy, the sprawling holding company with multiple subsidiaries, including NVEnergy, already operates 10 geothermal power generating plants on the southern shore of the Salton Sea, and recently commissioned a pilot facility to test the feasibility of extracting lithium from brine.

Salton Sea has a GOLDILOX BRINE ON STEROIDS.
It was just confirmed at the end of 2023 to have the largest geothermal lithium brine resources in the world with the highest lithium ppm in the U.S. The brine temperature is over 1000 degrees which is perfect for making steam to run the geothermal power plants and the super hot lithium brine would probably need additional cooling towers to get the temp down for the MDLE. Cooling towers will be a lot cheaper than having to heat the lithium brine up continuously like other potential outstanding customers in the Western U.S like U.S. Magnesium and Albemarle, their lithium brines will need an expensive source of heat to heat the lithium brine to a sweet spot before processing through IBAT MDLE and their ppm is nowhere near the Salton Sea ppm levels.
Burba knows what he's dealing with since he spent his Simbol years creating a valuable learning experience at the Salton Sea.

The Salton Sea region, for example, is considered to be one of the largest potential reservoirs of lithium in the US, and a number of companies are developing processes for extracting lithium from high pressure and high temperature wells. This area is one of the largest geothermal energy sites in the country, with more than a dozen plants producing electricity from wells thousands of feet deep that bring hot mineral-rich water to the surface, running turbines that produce electricity, then injecting the water back into the ground. Many of these plants are now owned by BHE Renewables, a division of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett’s holding company, based in Omaha. One of the plants has been converted to a lithium recovery demonstration project, with funds from the State of California and from the Department of Energy. That's why the DOE has been funding the exploration of lithium sources inside the United States. As part of that effort, it gave a $14.9 million grant to Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Energy to study the area surrounding the Salton Sea, which straddles Riverside and Imperial counties in the California desert.

IBAT states "The Customer is a significant producer of metals and minerals including the production of battery grade lithium carbonate." Berkshire checks this box, why would Buffet want to waste years trying to reinvent the wheel inventing a DLE. The Oracle is a businessman and all about making things work better for bigger profits with proven technology.

BHE Renewables is advancing lithium production research in California’s Imperial Valley. Lithium - the critical mineral used in lithium-ion batteries to power cellphones, laptop computers and electric vehicles - can be found in the brine processed at BHE Renewables’ geothermal facilities. A demonstration project to recover lithium from the geothermal brine was placed in-service in 2022, with a demonstration project to produce battery-grade lithium carbonate planned to be on-line in 2023. Upon successful completion of the projects, construction of the first commercial plant could begin as soon as 2024, leading to an environmentally responsible domestic source of lithium. 10. Keep in mind over 50 Lithium Brine Resources are located in Western U.S. and need a way to get the lihium out of the ground and processed.
First commercial grade extraction Lithium company in full production will have a huge amount of potential customers in the Western U.S.

IBAT MDLE can be assembled rather quickly in 10 days, it will take additional time for welders, pipefitters, electricians… to make major modifications to install to a geothermal electric plant and feed the processed dle brine to a lithium carbonate plant. Sorcia always said it would need a plant to make the dle lithium a finished battery grade carbonate. This same process would be needed wherever the MDLE is installed.

This is jmho with facts and logic to substantiate an outstanding customer with facilities to accommodate a mdle to put in commercial production asap. Do your own dd and let us know if you have facts to prove a better location for a outstanding customer with facilities.

If it is an "OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER " like Berkshire, they will validate recognition for IBAT to a whole new level with his golden seal of approval that will make IBAT a force to be reckoned with in the new emerging frontier of DLE…
Don't forget Berkshire is the majority stakeholder in Occidental oil who has access to lithium brine in facilitieS worldwide. Burba might be taking IBAT to a level that all of a sudden makes EXXON look small.
