From the May 18th 2023 shareholder call on supply for silicon nano particles ...If you haven't read the transcript for that call ill post it . its good to read even though it was 8 months ago to get a feel for the focus of CRTGs vision n nexts steps goals etc...Coretec does make their own silicon nano particles from scratch in house ..They have their starting precursor CHS which is Si6H12 or Cyclohexisilane as a base silane then are using that no one else uses. Coretec created a patented process to scale it and have 2 chemical manufacturers they use at present , Far Chemical and the another ones in Pennsylvania . Si6H12 has 6 times the silicon in one molecule , a much desired molecule by the semi conductor industry . Coretec has been working on getting Chips fund money and in the past was talking to 2 lg semi conductor companies to partner with to get the funding . No update on that in the last year or so. From the call ..Michelle Tokarz said" To that end, we have recently signed Memoranda of Understanding with two silicon nanoparticle suppliers, namely Alroko and SkySpring Nanomaterials.
A Memorandum of Understanding accomplishes several goals. One, it sets expectations for both companies. Two, it outlines commitments at a high level. And three, it establishes expectations for purchase orders.
In addition to these key parts of an MOU, both of these companies are able to easily alter their silicon nanoparticle products in order to accommodate our needs. Additionally, they have volumes large enough that they should always be able to supply us. For added supply chain security, we have also identified backup suppliers that we could employ if needed."
