We’re about the same age since I graduated HS in 1972.

I can and will go on for hours about the experiences and enjoy learning others’ experiences, and there are many longs here with a variety of unique life experiences.

Spending some of your time in a convertible on or near PCH in the 70s and 80s must have been glorious!

When I was spending half my time in SoCal for work, I several times was able to rent corvette convertibles for a week or more, and during my downtime drive up and down PCH, like driving up to Malibu and having a meal at the restaurant off PCH.

When I would luck out with a vette i would elect to stay in SoCal rather than red eye home Friday night to fly back out early the next week!

I like celebs like Buddy Epsen who are grounded and approachable and not full of themselves. We traveled so much that we would swing first class a lot on United Airlines and would sometimes sit next to or near various celebs, and for the most part they were friendly.

Once Stevie Wonder boarded the flight from LAX and played a keyboard and sang in first class for a good while. He got applause from the passengers when he boarded and when deplaning at the other end!
