Jordon Montgomery will have at least $150 million reasons to thank Brian Cashman for trading him.

Very unlikely Montgomery would get anything near what he is asking for if he wasn't traded and didn't have the opportunity to shine in the post-season.

6 years is a lot of money to gamble on a pitcher that could revert to the mean.
