Why would you assume "this doctor has apparently not heard of the JAMA article". Any monkey with Google can find DCVax and those with trial experience like Georgina Long who is in charge of his treatment regimen, can shoot holes in the data and trial as has been done numerous times already.

HIs colleague and friend Georgina Long said she was at ASCO and attended everything glioma related and talked to all of the experts in the field. She's researched all treatments and can certainly parse the JAMA data and she determined it was not going to help.

She can obviously see the same problems in the DCVax data as all the other oncologists who question the trial and flipper can't assassinate her character as she is doing what is in the best interest of her patient and friend.
