Life sciences efforts take a lot of time, money, and people to execute. The amount of effort involved to get into and stay in compliance is very, very large.

Hoskuld...

Absolutely true-Agree. WHY, It's all about Time to fail, IMO. Other sciences have dealt with and made progress on this (time) based problem by finding ways and methods to reliably accelerate the rate at which failures occur? it seems Other laws of physics and chemistry /Biology ...have been ignored by FDA and medical research. If everyone else had done this we would all still be using Vacuum tubes we would have no instantaneous -international comm. systems . Our WW cultures now rely on powerful-timely links to communicate facts-information. These systems were not possible until science found ways to accelerate the rate at which old/conventional failed. The failure rates and mechanisms were then analyzed, causes were theorized, tested-proven and alternatives were eventually tested, approved and applied. For some reason medical SCIENCE and Regulators have not been able to apply this thinking and we are left w/FDA decades old trial methods and failure analysis statistical (pecking-pecking time based stat procedures).

Even if AI helps the FDA will still insist on trials based on time and old school statistical routines . They must find and apply methods science and methods which will accelerate the rate at which failures develop/occur, (SOLVE FOR TIME TO FAIL) otherwise medical science will remain tied the vacuum tube thinking-technology which goes nowhere. People are dying every min. of the day b/c of the FDA . It is time to recognize and fix this basic systemic flaw in regulatory methods. They MUST ACCELERATE the failure rate in the CNS diseases Bio sciences so that meaningful trials can be done quickly...ASAP. IT'S ALL ABOUT TIME TO FAIL...FIGURE THAT OUT.
