Illegal naked short positions are not easily proven- that’s the catch… just look at the guys screaming about it in Finger Motion for months.

We know there’s at least 48M legal shorts- and last I saw, short trades were 50%+ of total volume this week (per otcshortreport) - which seems like a pretty significant number compared to the daily volume - about a week to cover or more at this rate…

What I do NOT understand is this- if NWBO has upcoming catalysts of UK submission and the Nature article, WHY are so many going short at the moment? Is it simply because of the sudden run-up, or are they anticipating NWBO missing the 30-45 day window they gave?

I am baffled. The profit versus loss amount and probability makes shorting NWBO seem insane to me.
