The point of your post was that Dr. Staelin is an unreliable source of information since he promoted the Synergy deal and it is not producing any sales.

So, your reason for giving no credibility to Dr. Staelins statement this week, "In addition we have been actively pursuing the establishment of a number of new international distributor agreements.", was total misinformation.

A lot easier to just say you made a mistake, Dr. Staelin did not promote Synergy, than trying to justify your error.
