POSH, you and Myth have put me in a sad mood today, but it's not your fault
In the '50 & 60s my Dad owned a bar and owned his own Juke box--and hundreds and hundreds of 45s. I was away from Oklahoma from 1968 through 2007. All those 45 have been lost, in time.
Myth, you posted about local music shows. That made me want to talk about a wonderful music thang in my paternal home town of Rush Springs, OK
About 12 or 15 years ago, The Rush Springs Opry was born. It was on the first and third Friidays of each month. Lots of amazing local talent and some from around the State.
I looked it up, this morning, to see about recent developments. The Rush Springs Opry was stopped in 2021 because the building it was in was sold.
So darn Sad!
