I would agree thst makes no sense to have to scale up to "expected demand" before approval. Who is to say what expected demand will be? Good manufactuting processes yes full scale to meet any demand no. That is ridiculous. Let the demand dictate the attraction of capital to meet the demand. After all is not the socialized medicine of Great Britian and Canada a form of rationing? The Health systems of those countries should at least let the most desperate, have what can be produced now. The medical community agreed basically two years ago that this should be approved. Most of all the patients that could have been helped on the date of the JAMA publication are now dead and may have lived.
