Rose, Most likely we may never know. Judge Du's stupidity makes her a
mass murderer as many more people will have died as a result of her stupidity
and ignorance. (I think her motivation was political: Generics good! Branded
drugs bad!) Sadly, in our world there is no compensation for others stupidity.
Of course, then you have people like Dr. Steve Nissen who is evil for what he
has done. Of course early on you had the FDA reneging on their SPA. What
a shame to see a great drug get laid to waste. Today, we have Alex Denner
and of course Dr. Bhatt who both may be key players to salvage what could
still be salvageable for this still great drug. Europe, China, & ROW are yet to
be known as to how Vascepa plays out. My guess is it ultimately may be up
to Alex Denner convincing a BP of the potential remaining if they acquire the
company and grow it properly in jurisdictions without threat of generics.
