Tollotest sounds like a viable option, but needs funding to complete trials. Detects presence of 3CL protease in blood. In Long Covid the virus is usually no longer detectable with nose and throat swabs and PCR testing.

Stool sample testing is another option for individuals as wastewater plants are seeing lots of Covid virus in their water, often reported as measured in higher and higher levels. Not a good sign. It means more people have the virus, perhaps without even knowing, or their Long Covid symptoms haven't fully manifested yet.

I'll keep taking my Tollovid twice daily, and keep a couple of extra bottles in case 5-day acute dosing is needed. Small price to pay to remain Covid-free, and certainly less expensive than seeing up to 9 specialists on an ongoing basis.
