Effectively they gamed the system using Ptab, appeals and every shady practice to avoid paying royalties. Their game to bankrupt NLST and take their patents just like all the other big tech companies do, it appears to be standard practice. That is why I believe that Judge Gilstrap should impose treble damages on Scamsung for not only putting up a very weak argument but for wasting the courts time. It will send Micron the message come to the table before trial or receive the same outcome. It will also gibe Goog notice that the time to pay up is here. I would say $10billion over ten years through cash and stock (really quite cheap) and $500 million in cash plus a license fee and product agreement of $1.5 billion over three years. They can then renegotiate with Sk Hynix in 2026. I think thats fair if you know the story. The bottom line is the courts have to start imposing serious damages on these big tech companies who are completely out of control
