Having lived in Oklahoma for 30 years, I've had a lot of contact with real Indians. On it'\ West side my grandparents farm bordered the Kiowa-Apache .Reservation.
I never heard of a single problem.
I'm talking about 80 years
I've had many conversations, with Indians, about many. things, about Indians. Most of those conversations were with Kiowas and Choctaws.
I never heard any of them complain about where they are in life. A major point. Even though Oklahoma has a large population, of Indians, Almost none of them were raised or lived on reservations. Our Indians are in the general population, as they should be.
I'll add, there is growing resentment over reparations for Blacks, "Why not us, they ask, I don't blame them.
IMO, it's a few activist that are causing the problems---IMO.
