BRK is a dividend stock. Always has been, even when its shares aren't rising or sending checks to shareholders. I don't need dividends. I don't want to pay taxes on them. I prefer to retain profits in the corp.

As for TA, there's absolutely no academic evidence it's good for anything but encouraging newbies to buy books and courses and to trade too much, thereby paying too much tax.
