I don't understand how people can portray bitcoin as some kind of benign decentralized open source platform when the largest shareholder, satoshi, is unknown. Like let's say hypothetically BTC takes over the U.S. as the new currency. Then Satoshi becomes the ruler of the U.S. and no one knows who he, or they, are. Full accountability and no privacy for everyone EXCEPT the largest shareholder. Like it or not, you are investing in "someone" or "some group" when you buy BTC, whether you know who they are or not. Does anyone here ever worry about who BTC might be empowering?
