Each population described by inclusion and exclusion criteria is different. IMO, simufilam may or may not work. Each of the 3 data releases for OL patients has been different - with each release being dramatically worse than the last. The first OL data release of 50 patients after a year showed average improvement of 3 points on the ADAS-Cog scale. The 3rd data release of 100 patients after a year showed average decline of 3 points. And the interim release of 50 patients after a year showed an average decline but that was 0.1 points, so negligible. Would the next data release show a decline of 6 points? IMO, that seems quite possible. Simufilam may work - and then again it may not work at all.
