Dispersing a fine powder that hasn’t melted would result in a continuous matrix with the particles acting as a “filler” dispersed in the matrix. I don’t think that get us to the final BMG at the atomic level..

It’s an interesting concept to disperse carbon nanotubes in a BMG matrix to create toughness. I actually think I read of something like that in work of one of Prof Li’s minions.
