Hi Steve, Re: Huskey.....

That was Don's own flavor of AIM. I can't remember what all he added but it might have been a "half way to the wall" cash utilization where you bought smaller and smaller amounts but never quite ran out of cash. I think this is before he started working on including moving averages and cross-overs.

We'd meet at the Brat Stop near the IL - WI border and have lunch and compare programs and laptops. Nice man.

Best wishes,
OAG Tom

Don was a great guy. Remember our email exchanges well and he became a good friend despite us never actually meeting in person.

His Husky spreadsheet arose out of a Husk userid on investorshub IIRC it had somewhat similarities to the 'ladder' approach I used where you set up upper and lower values and applied a stochastic calculation to identify the amount of cash/stock weightings.

Found this old post
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=1890937 by Don posted at the end of 2003 where as a xmas gift he offered to email a copy of the Husky spreadsheet to anyone that asked. I think this is the post to which he referred within that https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=702533

Burns through cash slower as share prices drop, trades inter-AIM trade bands to capture the

often a 20% drop in price will be followed by a 10% gain, which may be followed by another 20% drop followed by another 10% gain, followed by another drop

type motions between conventional AIM trades that might have zero AIM trades but where Husky trades to 'capture' those swings.

I think this is the greyhound post referenced https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=709660

I believe I have a copy of the Husky spreadsheet buried somewhere in a old PC in the loft, if the dust hasn't eaten it. At the time I was most impressed with Don's spreadsheet skills and learnt a lot from his work/teachings.
