Some sportswriter after the season ends should be asking questions about why Chapman was left off the roster for this series if they lose.

Cashman really needs to go along with Blake. The bonehead moves by Cashman at the trade deadline are still a mystery to me regarding pitching. Bader may be the only exception but the rest of his pitching moves didn't pan out.

As for Blake I have no idea what analytics school he went to but I do know pitch counts when it comes to using pitchers.

Holmes pitched in Friday’s Game 2 loss to Cleveland, tossing 16 pitches; Boone said he would not pitch back-to-back days, citing “soreness” and leaving him only for an emergency. That was not communicated to Holmes,

Just look at the pitchers used out of the BP the last 2 games and their corresponding pitch counts. Even in LL they can come back the next day with the few pitches they threw the previous day.

The underlying issue is team chemistry and I just don't see it and the 3 stooges of Cashman, Boone and Blake are to blame.
