While the LifeAir was in existence since 2016, FORW took up the investment in 2020, near the end of the "emergency use." The FDA stopped giving EUA for the vent. because the scamdemic was winding up. Now they are required to go through the regular process.

The vent is not worthless. It is designed to be used in poor areas as well as a mobile solution, such as on a battlefield or local disaster area.
