Acquisition Speculation: There has been a fair amount of discussion on this board regarding a buyout of NWBO and many forecast predictions on buyout price/share price.

Looking back at history, I think the highest premium (acquisition price relative to market cap at time of acquisition) was 89% (that was Gilead acquiring Pharmasset).

If that is a realistic ceiling then NWBO would be looking at a mere $2B (or thereabouts) in a buyout. Personally, I feel that is way too low (I am thinking $10B plus, for example) but I am trying to understand how any buyout could exceed past practices by this much. I want to believe $10B+ is the right number but am struggling given the data.

Perhaps with TLD and publication we can get back to the $4-$6 range in PPS and then $10B is within reach.

Thoughts anyone?

PS—I am long NWBO at just over 400K shares
