In my opinion, the two foundries scheduled to complete their PDKs in the 2H22 are very close if not done. Seems logical that a live production run needs to be the next step to analyze all of Koog’s questions. Once that discovery process is completed, the foundry and Dr Lebby need to come to agreement on how much upfront cash is appropriate to enter into a licensing agreement. Is that number $1 million or $50 million or something in between? Then there is the royalty percentage to agree upon. Googling this topic, I have found some guidelines that suggest anywhere from 25% to 35% of gross sales revenue.

There have been publicly recorded statements from Lebby and Marcelli that they fully understand the value proposition and they intend to capture all of it in the pricing. These negotiations are not going to be completed at a fancy dinner after a golf outing.

If you people want something real to discuss, then the structure of the deal(s) would be a whole lot more interesting than discussing the stupid temperature used to determine stability.
