Thanks for the response and most likely my scenario didn’t happen but who knows.

Denner buys a big stake in amarin and then issues his choice to abstain at the annual meeting. He is invited to meet with the company and discloses that he feels the company is way undervalued and that shakeup may be needed. Amarin responds by telling him that so and so is in the near future, leave us alone. Denner agrees

By the way I may be wrong but if Denner has some inside info I don’t think he can legally buy more shares.
