Now, since the second largest source of climate change CO2 emissions is from making cement for concrete, this does not sound sustainable. Especially for replacing roads that are new, or down town.

5G Laser charging of the turtles or next gen battery/super-capacitor energy storage, or one of several other solutions I can think of could solve the purported power issues, that I never agreed with as being real issues.

The new bill about to pass in Congress, and recent ones, with massive clean tech funding, data collection, all intended to reduce GHG emissions makes it even more likely they will get this going to reduce traffic congestion and and thus reduce GHG emissions...
