I think Israel and ZN being open about a find right now depends on what they've found.

If MJ2 shows something of a 350' oil layer [as reported on the not too distant Golan in 2015], I think they'd wait before speaking about it.

That's On land, in Israel.

That seems to be the plausible dynamic, IMHO, rather than informing everyone of it.

Hot neighborhood; a lotta angst making itself known.

Even a 50', or 75', or 35' layer on land, in Israel changes the dynamic definitively.

Pure speculation.

We'll see.
