It recently hosted some kids from urban Chicago who gott to play on DaField (and other diamonds at DaSite. For many of those kids it was the first time they had even been ~OUTT of Chicago and the first time seeing a corn field up close.

With the dormitory that is going to be built, DaField and surrounding diamonds at DaSite will routinely host kids ballgames for kids who live ~OUTTside the area. Mebbe they will have a screening room in the dorm where the overnight kids can wartch Field of Dreams movie so they get a bit of context for the site.

BTW, due to Spring rainy weather the corn and beans were planted late this year, butt near ideal conditions so far have allowed the crop to look excellent at near midseason (now). Looking great - so far - like my garten which is lready producing tomatoes, bell peppers, dill, basil, sage, with the other stuph looking great butt nott yet producing (I too got a late start in planting).
