Here for all impatient. Did not include discussions on MZ! Lebby well aware of 24 million shorted shares. LWLG keeping track, considering possible business implication and taking legal counseling. Lebby convinced best remedy is publicly addressing technology questions, investor concerns if possible during major industry conferences and to deliver the foundry engagements as promised in 2 H 2022 (which started at midnight) .
Emphasising last investor interview in which he publicly announced that it was great to see products from actual foundries’ production being delivered to specification. Lebby very happy with very positive industry reactions , from CEO’s from major companies in the field ( you got what we need) to peers in the industry. Admiration all around on performance, ( overall system implicated ) low power consumption and small seize. Pointed out that industry discussions on photonics started in earnest when his photonics roadmap in 2016. Since than discussions started on pro’s and con’s of such materials as lithium niobate, barium titanate, dielectric and polymers. The pro’s for polymers growing in industry awareness and appreciation. Current panel discussions at EPIC ( Poet, LWLG and EPIC) centered around question if the global photonics industries hybridisation activity needed more ( PDK) standardisation and it’s own foundry to drive scale and acceleration of market penetration. LWLG well positioned in any value chain configuration ( with CMOS) : UBIQUITOUS.
Takes all questions and shows an incredible depth in technology and industry knowledge. Just a pity some of the amateur scientists and investment midgets on this board could not listen in. Man is unshakable in his confidence, my conclusion success is secured. We are gold..
Nice to hear that foundry engagements were partly directed by final foundry customers and some foundries came directly to Lightwave. Lebby reiterated his favourite business model: Universal Display. Lightwave keeping the secret sauce in house and focusing on future development and other application areas. Revenue through royalties, technical assistance, licensing and direct material and device sales. Means small operation , small asset base and high ROI ( high P/E multiple). Main focus building and protecting growing patent portfolio.

Reflecting on this “ photonics foundry”. This has Lebby stamped all over it. He is taking the industry where he ( already is) and a step further. He is leading the industry . … building independence from semi conductor foundries and building the scale for hybridisation and … an all polymer chip.

Any judgment calls or projections into the future is based on my personal interpretation.
