Like making beer, sounds simple and basic

It is, but the art is in the details

Catalysts, temperature/pressure, variable feedstocks, intermediate reactants (might sound like I know something on those ….. but I don’t, LOL)

A refinery process flow chart probably looks more like a sprawling, complex, quantum mechanics calculation than it does a cake recipe
