I agree that if the company did nothing I believe shareholders would go along with authorizing more shares, but there would be solid opposition and the likes of AdamF would play on it.

I believe the company had a plan and while their plan has taken much longer than they anticipated, they have still followed their plan. I believe that in the end their plan will prove to be very successful. Could it have been done differently, sure, but in some cases, it may have failed and been completely abandoned. LP has brought us to the brink of success, she ought to be allowed to finish the job and decide for herself when she wishes to entrust the job, or the company, to someone else.
