Strawman. Kerrisdale is saying even if the tech can be commercialized it's insignificant. That has to be squared with leaders in the field showing enthusiasm.

Can you imagine leaders in the auto industry excited about a tech increasing speed by 1km/h and decreasing fuel consumption by 1%? Me neither. Same applies here.
