You contradict yourself.
The first paragraph says "properly trained"
Your second says in these situations, little or "perhaps nothing" could be done.
In addition, your logic would indicate that in all of the previous mass shootings, that not one of the policemen involved was "properly trained"
As for Ted Cruz, I think he is a spineless, lying, phoney, and anything else that I can't think of at the moment, excuse for a human being.
