I want to believe but I am having trouble. I admit that I don't remember any shares being distributed from the Disputed Equity Escrow since Jan 9, 2020. But I still have questions.

Before I start, I want to emphasize that I want to believe. I am interested in any other information you have and hope you will post it.

1) Can you provide a link showing that 416,300,000 shares still reside in the Disputed Equity Escrow? (Anyone else who has such information is welcome to reply.)
2) is 416M the number of WMIH shares that are waiting or is it possible that number is based on WAMUQ shares.

The reason I ask is I have done some math (I left it out of this post because it is a little convoluted)

However, one thing jumped off the pages at me and is easy to follow. By my rough calculations (which are not exact but should be in the ball park) show that just less than 110M WMIH shares were issued in the first place. (This is based on 1.19B WAMUQ released, all 3M Ps released, all 20M Ks released and using the conversion factors on the banner on this discussion group.) If someone can guide me as to how this number is wrong, please do so.

I'm having trouble accepting that almost 4X the total shares issued is in the DEE. Thus my second question.

I noticed a line in one of the links...

Due to the de minimis number of shares currently held in the Disputed Equity Escrow, and the fact that the Disputed Equity Escrow Agreement does not contemplate the issuance of fractional shares or the payment of cash-in-lieu of fractional shares, the Trust expects that a significant majority of legacy common shareholders will not receive any shares in connection with such redistribution.

(color added for emphasis)

I tried to do some math to estimate how many shares of WAMUQ one would have to have had before POR7 in order to receive 1 share of COOP based on your 416M number of DEE shares. Unless an awful lot (and I mean an awful lot) of pre-BK shareholders still held their shares and then released them, I don't see how the 'significant majority' phrase works with the 416M number you provided.
