JL .. Good to see U posting here again
For the record, in case those new to the board did not know ...you made probably the best buy of AMRN stock in around August 2014 for I recall 84c ? a share ...and posted that purchase on the Y board at the time . You were also absolutely right in predicting the success of the Reduce It trial .

In terms of near term catalysts . Have you looked at Kaisers MITIGATE trial using Vascepa ...top line data as a late breaker April 3rd . The Omicron positivity rate has been very high in that trials key recruiting county , Sacramento as well as several counties nearby . So I dont expect any problems with powering ...ie enough patients in the trial long enough with enough events should produce a stat sig result
So we should know once and for all ...does Vascepa reduce rates hospitalization , need for urgent care etc for those that get Covid etc .

Kaiser is also tracking the CV results in MITIGATE and I suspect will be focusing on key sub groups ...PAD and CABG .. where event lines clearly diverged before the 2 yr mark . We are unlikely to get any data on this on April 3rd but we should in 2023.

The reason MITIGATE is important IMHO is that if the trial shows significant benefit ( say 15-20% RRR ) ...for the high risk group its following ( Prior MI etc , average age will be over 70 ) ....I expect Kaiser to recommend Vascepa's use for all those that meet the trial profile ...especially before an expected winter re emergence of Covid .

The Alex Denner accumulation of AMRN's shares is a much needed positive catalyst . I owned MDCO ...which once he'd got involved, took the stock from under $20 to over $80 on its sale ...that he engineered ...to NVS .
I think he will follow a similar play book here and essentially try and sell the EU position of AMRN to NVS .....who will be able to generate cash flow from EU sales of Vascepa far faster than AMRN ever will.

As I've stated previously ...I was buying AMRN below $3 on Monday ...and will accumulate more if if some random market sell off ( Russian invasion of Ukraine as example ) sends it below $3 again .
I'll keep my position as long as Denner , maintains or adds to his .
Despite this ...some here still consider me a basher ?

How's your popliteal artery and walking distance these days ? If you care to share, please post on the other board ( Shockwave ) as I'd appreciate an update .
Be well
