Good post Gator.

For once, someone with a sense of calm and rational thinking.

I find it funny as well, the arguments that have went on here about YE2021 or Q12022 Rett data. In the end, one, two, three or 4 months doesn't make 1 bit of difference. If results are good, thats all that matters.

The EZ days of biotech investing are OVER. Biotech created millionaires overnight in 2020 and early 2021. Sectors fade. I 100% believe those that are saying 2022 "is the year of biotech" are sadly mistaken. Now that all the "hot-air" is gone people are going to get hurt. Most of these people starting trading in 2020 during the COVID19 lock-down and got used to easy money and 100% gains ever month. Wallstreet has different plans this year. What is it? Its right in front of our face.

This whole thing reminds me of NASDAQ in 1999 when it hit 5000 and the subsequent drop to ?1800? I was out drinking with a few friends and heard the waitress telling some patron about stocks. I knew it was time to get the F out technology. I had already reduced my positions in tech stocks but that following Monday I sold everything. At the time I was taking positions in offshore drillers and driller services stocks (Rowan, Diamond, KCS, Noble, etc) Oil was at $10bbl and some of these stocks were selling for .25-$1. I had to wait 6 years but oil exploded and ran to $120+. Some of those drillers returned 4000%. Most well over 1000%. I wish I had more money, as if I did, I probably wouldn't even be typing this. It did give me the ammo to make more money and taught me a ton about staying patient and letting things transpire.

Inflation is here and its staying. All the talk of "its transitory" have faded. Those that don't adjust accordingly will be crushed. Personally, I have accumulated quite the hoard of gold and silver and feel comfortable about having some stashed away for "those rainy days". Because they are coming.

As far as Anavex is concerned: I am invested heavily here not for what happens next week or even next year. But for what might happens in 2-3 years. Things take time, particularly in biotech. For Anavex, the seeds are sowed. I do have a feeling something big is coming that is NOT on the radar. So many investors are worried about the day to day SP and "Rett Q42021/Q12022 they have lost track of just how far Anavex has come. I do suspect others in the industry have taken notice. I'll leave it at that.

Good night,

-Fireman
