Yes. It's not so much for my mom and sis as it is for the brother in law. They both grew up here but he is a big closet fan of Chicago.

He's a Bears fan (for whatever reason) and watches the themed TV shows. He wants to go see the fire and police stations that they are filmed in.
They allow people off the street to go tour so it's pretty cool.

I was planning a tour of Solider Field for him but the girls threw a flag on that. He's going to be subjected to the museums and the zoo for a couple days.

My mom hasn't seen Navy Pier since it turned around so I want to take them there too. Obviously Millennium park as well. He wants to see what the bean is all about.

LOL my sis wants to put him on ice skates so the Maggie Daly skating ribbon will be a must. I'm just hoping the weather cooperates. It can get mighty shitty really quick around here in mid December.

The food speaks for itself. There's tons of places that we can go and we don't even have to be downtown for that, plus I'm not sure how a rural Tennessee farm boy would handle some of the more ethnic neighborhoods that I like to visit for serious chows. I don't want to make him nervous because I want them to come back again.

Just having Christmas with my mom will mean a lot to me and her not having to cook for a change will make it better. They'll get to meet my little yo-yo of a dog and my new girlfriend too.

It's going to be an action packed week for sure. Mom's staying here and I put the sis and her hubby at the brand new Hampton just down the street next to the stadium incase they need an escape, which they most definitely will.

I'm pretty stoked about the whole thing.
