Kiwi, first thanks for your response. I don’t disagree with what you say, but strictly on a personal level I am confused about this question of “family history”.

From the definition I posted from I believe UCI, I would think I could answer no to family history of CVD. But I assume under more detailed questioning by a doctor, some doctors may consider me to have such a history. Is this something that is variable based on each doc’s predilections. The main thing I see is whether certain cardiovascular events occurred before a certain age in first relatives. And maybe not only heart attacks but including other cardiovascular interventions. But it might be at the discretion of the individual doc.
