"So thinking I would probably sell in 2020 I went ahead and did an IRA conversion in essence adding a bunch of income for 2019, so I did not want to add any more income from a sale of Amarin stock until after the New Year.


Good suggestion to take a peek at the AUPH board. They have struggled with sales of their newly approved drug, Lupkynis, but the volume today was huge. Notice some on their board selling calls today. Over the last 6 months that has been a good strategy on spikes but maybe this time something else is cooking. They are rumored to be a takeover target.

What I saw was a severe shortfall on their expected first quarter of sales. Which was actually only a fraction of the quarter do to a mid quarter start to sales. Is there other data I'm unaware of? Amrn relevance in that ya can't divide 1st year Euro/ROW target by 4 and complain about 3rd quarter sales if the start is mid August.
