Jfmcrr, not sure if my situation was worse than yours. It feels that way I believe because I had the mid-twenties as my target all along. Hilarious actually because I was worried that a buyout might happen and of course unless it is a stock deal there is no controlling the timing of the gain in a BO. I even posted here whether a BO before the end of 2019 was likely and most of us figured a deal would happen only after FDA approval. So thinking I would probably sell in 2020 I went ahead and did an IRA conversion in essence adding a bunch of income for 2019, so I did not want to add any more income from a sale of Amarin stock until after the New Year.


Good suggestion to take a peek at the AUPH board. They have struggled with sales of their newly approved drug, Lupkynis, but the volume today was huge. Notice some on their board selling calls today. Over the last 6 months that has been a good strategy on spikes but maybe this time something else is cooking. They are rumored to be a takeover target.
