WiseYoda, You are correct, nothing like last time.

The question becomes how to read that.

Do they have a 3D Seismic indication of a good size reservoir and therefore do not want to tell anyone until it is absolutely necessary?

If they go around screaming we have oil, all the license areas surrounding the Megiddo license will be bought by the big oil boys who will then directionally drill into their find and steal their oil.

Another thought is that until they have established a "50 Year Production License" with the State of Israel, they have no claim. Once they do established a "50 Year Production License" with the State of Israel, through 3D Seismic and other means, they can indicate that the reservoir crosses over license areas, and therefore, that license area is part of the 50 Year Production License agreement.


Maybe they are trying to keep down the noise to keep the day traders at bay?

Perhaps they feel this will keep the stock from the volatility of the past?


Maybe they have to stop being so prolific in their press releases because of SEC Warnings telling them to Put up or Shut up?


Maybe its a mixture of things?


I choose the first reasoning because that's what I want to see happen and the fact that:

1.) We bought a rig
2.) We are training a native drilling crew (for the future)
3.) We have 3D Seismic and MJ01 Data with respect to the drilling area
4.) We are drilling from the same location (pad)
5.) MJ02 has never been referred to as a Wild Cat (that was MJ01)
6.) MJ02 (based on diameter of borehole) is a production well
7.) MJ02 is being directionally drilled (directed where?)
8.) The CEO has discussed (how though directional drilling) the borehole will be more like a root system drawing fluid from many locations/repositories.

Of course, being a long term faithful shareholder, that is what my faith tells me.
