if people were writing way out of the money uncovered calls I can see why that caused the stock to blow up.

Dunno what logic he uses to think that writing covered or uncovered out of the money calls would cause the stock to go up.

If people are hot on the 30 dollar calls, as a shareholder it would be in your best interest to write covered calls, free money. I haven't looked at the option chain.

Writing uncovered calls, mostly impossible unless you are a multimillionaire.
