My Take on the show last night
Round 1
1) Grace- I thought her first song was above average, but Nothing special. Just don't feel it, almost always when she performs. She can sing but makes me feel nothing, and sometimes overdoes the vocal. This one was more In the I didn't feel it box. Grade B-
2) Willie- I thought he sang decently, but once again, not the best song for him. Grade B-
3) Chacye- Terrible song choice for him, boring and draggy vocal. Just a average Performance. Grade C
Round 2
1) Grace- Disliked the timing, thought she was pitchey inparts. This was more a over done vocal. Didn't like it. Grade C-
2) Willie-A decent song, sang it fine, but at the same time was nothing special either. Grade B-
3) Chacye- Sang it well, better song. Was definitely above average. Grade B-
I thought grace should be cut and that is what happened.
Final Round.
1) Chacye- Solid vocal, solid song. But as always for me, he just never does it for me. I know he has talent, but it will generally only get to above average for me. Grade B-
2) Willie- Best song and vocal of the night for me. and it wasn't even close. Plus I felt something with that song. Grade A-
I thought willie should win rather easily, but chacye won, as the voters disagreed. Anyways that concludes my thought on this. Have a great day.
