WOuld an inventor think EPA might lower trigs ?

The only possible answer is that the combination of Estriol and EPA lowered trigs - even though Estriol alone did not lower trigs but the combination of Estriol and EPA lowered trigs does this necessarily mean its the EPA that is lowering trigs ? ONe simply does not know - ( IT may be that the estradiol and EPA in some manner interacted to induce trig lowering )

Heinecke: But as I just alluded to, estrogen or estriol typically increases estrogen levels, and so the fact that we're seeing this effect argues against the hypothesis that synergy is occurring. Now, of course, one can never exclude the possibility there might be some unknown synergy. But that
would not be very likely under these circumstances.
