This thought could easily apply to just about every aspect of BIOTECH research and investing. Of course we here may be biased but we are not stupid. We are capable of rational discussion and review of facts presented. IMO, we are acting like trained fools following the story lines driven by WS handlers. In fact, all we have to do is just not think and be silent while our WS handlers get their word out.

I do think that unseen interests control what is being said in many PR's written to represent (money/political/other interests). Not being a big WS guy, and having no tolerance for liars, I have trained myself to accept that we "must deserve what we get...." RIGHT??. Wrong.
This is systemic and it is obvious. Just do any management assessment on the efficacy of the regulatory/science process results of the last 30+ years. The system does not produce what it is supposed to (safe and effective treatments), it produces vapor which WS has figured out how to convert VAPOR into Money. Money is the product.

Do not care or know what a cabal actually is (loose collection-definition-I get the concept) is OK w/me. I get it. We probably do not have zillions of silent money guys pulling the up-down strings for AVXL..."We are waiting for the science to eventually percolate and produce the TRUTH. (IN OUR LIFETIME).

So here we are, have a good-solid insight into what the truth actually (should) is or should be. Somehow the truth does not seem to be worth as much as "other" influence . (I despise liars) and cannot imagine how anyone would spend their money on a pile of loosely done/poorly tested CNS science ,but, we have evidence every day that LIARS MATTER.

It would be nice to look at sp of a BIOTECH company and assume they earned it, they REALLY DO have their act together but the facts are that the truth does not stand for much on WS. It's the GAME of stealing while you stay out of jail B/C (fill in blank) has been taken care of. Bottom line, none of this is real and the sp$$$$ is not an accurate representation of true worth or scientific-medical value.

Trouble is, there really is no true metric as far as I can tell. Keep looking and hope that eventually the liars get run over.
