Joe Biden and Kamala Harris side by side, no masks, which, perhaps is appropriate, since they represent the future, that future being a day -- among many other things-- when a herd immunity is achieved.

The attempts by govermment at many levels -- federal, state, municipal -- in addition to other forms of social organization -- to somehow strive to achieve the greatest good for the greatest number doesn't seem to quite hit home with far too many members of the American electorate.
