We may have to disagree on this one George. I'll use Walmart as an example. Ten years ago Walmart paid their low level workers so little many were also on government assistance. In fact, Walmart would help their workers apply for assistance. Today they pay a minimum of $15 an hour to all front line workers. Total federal taxes on a worker making $15 an hour are about 15% so their net is $12.75 or about $500 a week.
