The results of the mail in and absentee ballots was largely known beforehand since they were segregated as they were received. How else would Newsday know that twice as many absentee ballots were sent by Democrats as Republicans before they were opened and tallied? Why else would Pennsylvania officials claim Trump had "no chance of winning" when in-person voting had him up by over 500,000 votes and the mailins hadn't yet been tallied?

If the pre election polling was correct the mailins wouldn't have mattered. But they weren't. Not a surprise to me that the only meaningful reversals were in the swing states that Biden needed, and the mailin votes he needed came from heavily Democratic areas.

To make in-person voting the same as mailin and absentee voting, Republicans arriving at polling places should be required to wear red shirts, Democrats blue shirts, independents some other color. Each shirt should have a unique bar code and be scanned on entry.

It's nice to have a lot of horsepower in the engine room but you need some in the wheelhouse too.
