Boston, I have been reading some of your tiresome discussion with Tesla through the Roof. From what I have been able to gather, you are a Tesla shorter because you don't believe that global warming is caused by CO2, and TTTR is an unabashed bull on Tesla.

Here is my perspective. Based on your last post, you seem to be arguing that Tesla will not make any additional profits because they will cut their car prices as battery costs go down. Keep in mind that EVs are almost economic now, without any tax subsidy. So if they could cut prices down some more, IC cars will be history soon.

What happens then? The humongous auto market will be split among the EV companies. I expect Tesla to get the lion's share, upwards of 20 million cars per year.

So I see Tesla stock at $1,000 soon, probably in two years. And that is my bearish scenario. My bull case sees Tesla as a $2 TRILLION company, which would mean a stock price approaching $2,000.

Now, about global warming resulting from CO2 or vice versa. I do not think it matters what the facts are. The perception, in this case, is much more important than the facts. Apple announced today that they are 100% carbon neutral today, and in 10 years expect to have zero climate impact. As long as major corporations keep acting like it is all about CO2, the facts do not matter.
